These Terms govern your use of Gear Journey Customer and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Purpose of the service
Gear Journey is a photography gear journey and workflow-management tool. It helps users record equipment, prepare shoot loadouts, perform OUT/location/RETURN checks, maintain history, and synchronize supported data across devices.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for information entered into your workspace. You must not use the service to violate law, access another person’s account without permission, interfere with service security, or upload unlawful or malicious content.
Subscriptions and payments
Gear Journey may offer trial, free, or paid access. Web/desktop payment options may include manual bank/QR payment and one-time payment providers when enabled. Gear Journey does not intentionally auto-deduct or auto-renew a manual/PayHere one-time payment unless a future product clearly states otherwise and you explicitly choose it. Native Google Play or Apple builds may use the store’s permitted billing method for digital access and are also subject to the store’s purchase terms.
Data and backups
Cloud synchronization and backups are designed to reduce data loss, but you remain responsible for maintaining appropriate exports/backups for important business records. Do not rely on Gear Journey as the only copy of information that is legally or commercially critical.
Availability and changes
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features for security, maintenance, legal, or product reasons. We aim to preserve existing customer data during normal updates, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.
Intellectual property
Gear Journey software, branding, design, and original product materials remain the property of their respective owner(s). These Terms give you permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of the software or brand.
Termination and deletion
You may stop using the service at any time and can request account deletion. We may restrict or terminate access for fraud, abuse, security threats, non-payment of a paid plan, or material violation of these Terms.
Disclaimer and liability
Gear Journey is a workflow aid. Users remain responsible for physically checking equipment and making professional decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a guarantee that it will prevent every lost, missing, damaged, or forgotten item.
